The Consumer Credit Counselling Service is a registered charity whose purpose is to assist people who are in financial difficulty by providing free, independent, impartial and realistic advice.
Like all other organisations, CCCS have a heavily legislated financial process, but as a charity, we are also driven by compliance requirements of the Charity Commission. Our responsibility for supporting a highly dependent client base carries an equal priority that demands we offer best practice in terms of availability of our service.
We brought in TPN consultancy to provide us with specialist Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery expertise in the establishment of cost-effective measures and the production of robust, yet pragmatic, plans. TPN have provided us with a comprehensive and realistic Business Continuity framework that gives us the flexibility to respond to incidents, without compromising our ability to focus upon our critical business functionality.
Speaking on behalf of CCCS, Projects Manager , Ian Cracknell, commented as follows ;-
"I had already heard about TPN and was aware their ability to deliver – I also knew at the outset that this programme had a number of major challenges.
TPN's Simon Featherstone joined the programme, bringing his experience of disaster recovery and assisted by TPN’s Rick Wallis, with his high focus on delivery and attention to detail, contributed significantly to the overall successes of this assignment.
I would also like to add that Simon brought the right specialist knowledge and, working with CCCS, the correct project management approach, enabling the successful engagement of key internal stakeholders to deliver the desired business goal of a realistic Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery framework.
In the case of the overall approach by TPN I would be more than happy to use them again and recommend TPN to others.”
