​Acting as a usual debit card would allowing you to spend the money you have in any store, there is also a unique additional feature. An app based parental control feature allows for parents to allocate a set amount of money to be spent in a pre-allocated/ approved store. Greenlight have labelled this feature permission based spending. Parents can even receive notifications on what their child has spent and where.

Greenlight have also considered savings accounts. However unlike a normal account were the bank pay low interest rates, with this account you can set up your own parent-paid interest rates.

To get an account with Greenlight there is a 30 free trial, followed by a £4.99 subscription fee per household, with a maximum of 5 accounts.
