Their current portfolio includes a global payments gateway, virtual card-based pay-out solutions, and an innovation business line. As the Acquiring Product & Proposition Manager, you’ll be leading the definition, evolution & implementation of the core acquiring service.
Lead the development of our acquiring propositions for our chosen segments & markets
Spearhead the production of the product roadmap to deliver these propositions and manage their delivery and launch
Delivering multiple initiatives at pace within a fast-paced environment
Working closely with both internal and external stakeholders and to manage key relationships and dependencies across the business internationally
Develop & document a deep understanding of the needs of current & target market, segments and merchant clients
Define and maintain the pricing of your product
You’ll provide the product vision and demonstrate leadership to key stakeholders involved in the development, marketing and sale of our products.
Own a product through its lifecycle, including; defining the proposition based on customer wants and needs, building business cases based on the proposition, defining what the product / features should look like, support the business to sell the product and owning the product P&L to ensure there’s in-life optimisation of your product.
Define cases for investment, be specifically responsible for the business case for your SAFe EPICS / Features inc. where applicable for the partner's commitment, make build/buy/partner decisions, make funding requests and actively manage your product's budget and associated revenue
·Ensure, in collaboration with the Compliance Manager, that your product is and remains compliant with payment schemes' rules and payment regulations where applicable
You’ll have strong payments experience in an acquirer related role
You’ll have excellent knowledge of card payment processing products & services gained through prior experience in a merchant acquirer, card scheme, PSP or processor
You’ll have a deep understanding of developing propositions, product development and GTM
You’ll have a track record in launching successful acquiring products / propositions in international markets
You’ll have the ability to explain complex issues simply and to influence senior stakeholders
Experience in managing products/projects with complex stakeholder groups, including third parties and vendor dependencies
Ability to work well under pressure and be able to prioritise to meet deadlines and quickly shift priorities as necessary
Track record of successful delivery of various scheme projects and regulatory initiatives and bringing these to market as part of an enhanced product proposition
