About the Opportunity

You will be responsible for promoting and growing the company presence within Europe (key markets are Germany, France, Benelux), targeting and winning sizeable new business with Merchants, Banks and other Financial Service providers.Europe represents a sizeable growth opportunity for the company, and they are looking for a strong leader to lead and grow the business, from a strong established base.

Responsibilities:

·         Responsible for sales and business development to partners as well as to large online merchants to focus across specific verticals

·         Generate sales and create new business opportunities, while managing sales processes and negotiating terms until reaching the final commercial agreement with both partners and merchants.

·         Provide competitor and market insights and analysis in order to align future customers to the company’s strategy.

·         Work with existing account teams in local markets on key client deals & work collaboratively with other sales teams across the regional and global business.

·         Lead from strategy to execution on sales initiatives.

·         Monitor all onboarding processes until ‘go live’ with relevant internal departments.

·         Participate in worldwide trade shows, as well as travel abroad to customers and company offices as needed.

·         Contribute to product strategy & feedback relevant market intelligence

About you

·         Proven 5 years plus in sales/business development experience, selling online acquiring/payment services to the e-commerce/online payment industry whilst working for a financial institution or online Payment Service Provider

·         We are looking for someone with a network in Retail (eCom and Card Present), Digital services and goods (software downloads, games downloads, streaming etc), Digital Services (Taxi apps and other) and possibly travel.

·         Deep understanding of the credit cards acquiring & online payments industry

·         Vigorous networker, with a strong network across the regions’ Top 50 Merchants, Top 15 Banks.Able to leverage this to identify opportunities.Able to work with external partners on a deal.

·         Proven complex / strategic solution sales delivery to large accounts, European Merchants, Banks / FS providers - evidence of closing sizeable deals.

·         Previous experience of working in an international company

·         Commercially astute, with developed analytical skills and be capable of setting and achieving ambitious sales targets

·         Sharp and independent, possess excellent commercial, negotiation and presentation skills

·         Ability to network at all levels, with strong verbal and written communication skills

·         Excellent professional written and spoken Business English.
