Our client offers everything from card readers and ecommerce to integrated payment solutions and recently have been backed by a leading private equity firm, raising £100 million. They currently operate around 100,000 card payment terminals across more than 45,000 merchants, processing over £4.5 billion annually.
They are already working with 30,000 businesses all over the UK and due to their success, they’re looking to expand their team. They’re looking for enthusiastic BDMs to join their fun and motivating team, offering full training and support as well as opportunities for career development and progression.
About the Opportunity
As a BDM, you will need to be driven and ambitious, with a clear focus on customer’s needs. You will be required to attend self-generated appointments and create interest into the vast product portfolio as well as closing meetings.
There is a strong emphasis on training and coaching across the business, as a culture of learning, development and inclusion is nurtured. You will be trained, coached, and then empowered to build your sales pipeline.

Responsibilities
Self-generate and drive new business sales
Follow up and attend meetings booked by the in-house call centre
Maintaining sales pipeline to deliver annual targets.
Booking and attending appointments through to the completion of a sale where the customer is using the company’s products for their payment processing.
Become a trusted adviser for customers
Conduct research to identify new markets, customer needs and approach these with the aim of achieving a sale and obtaining referrals
Day to day engagement with both existing and potential clients.
Attempt to overcome any customer objectives to improve sales opportunities
Build positive relationships, developing and fostering constructive working relationships
About the Desired Candidate
Minimum 1 years experience in a B2B, customer facing sales role
Be tenacious, resilient and have a strong work ethic
Proven track record of achieving sales targets
Excellent communication skills
A positive and passionate approach to work and life
A flexible attitude that embraces change
Good time management and planning skills
Team player with focus on individual delivery
Client oriented with excellent client service
Solid time management skills and planning abilities
