About The Opportunity
They are seeking a talented and driven Director of Sales to lead their team of Sales Development Representatives and to accelerate their growth in the UK. The ideal candidate will be energetic, persuasive, have an entrepreneurial spirit, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
The Director of Sales will develop key UK sales strategies, tactics, and action plans, as well as provide training, and leadership to the sales team.
Responsibilities
Partner with the management team to develop and implement an end-to-end strategy for seller target selection, outreach, and evaluation.
Manage, mentor, and develop a team of junior SDRs to effectively track towards sales target
Identify potential client/market needs across different industry verticals; work in partnership with internal teams and channel partners to address business opportunities.
Support overall cross-border e-commerce market strategy; work in partnership with marketing to craft and execute outreach content to showcase products, their capability, and value proposition.
Ensure customer success by anticipating and/or resolving customer service issues in a timely and effective manner.
Develop a solid and trusting relationship with key client accounts ensuring all needs are met and issues resolved.
Understand and effectively communicate the company's value proposition, technical expertise, process, and current partnerships through proposals and presentations.
Coordinate with internal resources (product, compliance, legal, finance) during the selling process.
About You
Bachelor’s Degree required; Business-related field a plus.
5-8 years sales leadership and management experience in cross-border e-commerce platforms, payment companies, banks, trade companies, and/or fin-tech industry preferred.
Pipedrive, Salesforce (or similar CRM tools), Drip (or similar email campaign management tools) experience strongly preferred.
Previous experience in sales generation, conversion analysis and creating sales funnels a plus.
