About the Opportunity

To have responsibility for the sales activity of the Group. To develop and execute agreed sales strategies to a successful conclusion. Lead the Business Development team by offering support and coaching. Generate new relationships with partners, referrers and prospects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and motivate the Business Development team to exceed targets.

  • Line manage Marketing Executive.

  • Setting activity and revenue targets for members of the BD team to deliver monthly & annual targets.

  • Continual training and development of all members of the BD team.

  • Attending key meetings with members of the BD team and coaching in the field.

  • Collaborate on account management plans with Service and Operations teams.

  • Identifying key areas for improvement in the sales process for all products Suresite offers.

  • Spotting market opportunities for new customers.

  • Attending monthly meetings with the Senior Leadership team to deliver forecasts and income reports.

  • All aspects of recruitment and selection for the sales department.

  • Manage the marketing budget effectively to maximise opportunities.

  • Monthly reporting on sales performance against budget and reporting on variances.

About the Desired Candidate

  • A strong understanding of merchant acquiring, Wetstock and Health and Safety. A proven track record in one or all these sectors would be desirable but not essential.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to C- Suite level.

  • Ability to understand and deliver on company strategy in a fast-paced environment.

  • A real passion for personal and business growth and openness to fast paced change.

  • Ability to use data to create meaningful dialogue with colleagues and clients.

  • A problem solver. The ability to make logical decisions in a diverse and complex environment using technology derived information.

  • Ability to inspire sales teams through motivational techniques and thought leadership.

  • Commercial awareness and knowledge of how best to increase profit margins.
