Due to their continued expansion they are now looking for a high calibre Head of Sales to join the team and be a part of their journey to success.

About The Opportunity

As the new Head of Sales you will be responsible for the new business efforts of the business, developing sales strategies to recruit new retail partners and deliver against the business plans and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Developing Sales Strategies and Planning

  • Developing Prospecting planning and campaigns

  • Develop and monitor key business KPIs for new business

  • Provide competitor insight

  • Manage a team of business development managers

  • Train and nurture the BDMs, providing support across the full sales cycle

  • Take ownership of key enterprise new business opportunities

  • Drive loan origination growth through the managed partnerships

  • Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.

  • Being the subject matter expert for the sectors we operate and the market

  • Developing industry relationships via networking

  • Some travel required within the UK

About You 

  • Proven track record of managing a high performing sales team, that exceeds sales targets in a competitive financial services environment

  • Negotiation skills with experience in successfully winning deals with both large corporations and SMEs

  • Effective presentation and communication skills

  • Ability to engage with different level stakeholders

  • Ability to work across a number of functions and skillsets including commercial, strategy, proposition, marketing, risk, operations and technical

  • Proven ability to understand the key commercial drivers of complex BD deals and negotiations

  • Ability to work well as part of a team to deliver overall team targets

  • Ability to work within and knowledge of regulated credit environment
