They are built on 30+ years of experience in the travel industry by driving the company’s diversification into new sectors and product areas. They combine reliability, knowledge and technological innovation with a start-up culture and a hunger to disrupt the ways of processing payments. Their current portfolio includes a global payments gateway, virtual card-based pay-out solutions, and an innovation business line. We’re looking for an experienced and commercially minded Product Manager to take charge of and evolve our cards & APMs acceptance product.
Define, based on customer / market / competitive insight you will have gathered, the vision & strategy for your product and execute on that strategy to turn it into customer success
For card acceptance, you’ll take the lead to ensure that our authorisation and capture/clearing messages have the relevant functionality (data, 3ds, instalment, etc) and reach (choice of most popular card brands and acquirers) to support our Travel Merchant customers (airlines, hotels, etc) in their travel-specific environments (use cases, channels)
For APM acceptance, you’ll take ownership for ensuring that our Travel Merchant customers can offer the relevant APMs to their customers in the markets and channels where they operate
For both card & APM acceptance, your strategy will need to be all encompassing inc. ease of onboarding/activation of the payment methods, customer support, choice of partners, fallback options, etc
Define, communicate and maintain the intrinsic value proposition of your product
Define and maintain the pricing of your product
Define cases for investment, take charge of the business case for your SAFe EPICS / Features inc. where applicable for the partner’s commitment, make build/buy/partner decisions, make funding requests and actively manage your product’s budget and associated revenue
Collaborate with key stakeholders inc. Segment Strategists (airlines, hospitality, travel agents, etc) to gather segment-specific requirements, Product Development (the POs for card & APM acceptance) to define roadmaps and backlogs (we’re moving to SAFe), Payment Platform, Partnerships, Sales, Marketing
Ensure, in collaboration with the Compliance Manager, that your product is and remains compliant with payment schemes’ rules and payment regulations where applicable
You’ll have experience as a product manager for cards and APMs acceptance acquired in a relevant B2B2C payment domain (PSP, Acquirer, Scheme, Large Merchant, …) and with at least regional (ideally global) responsibility
You’ll be able to provide evidence of successfully evolving products and of successfully launching new products
You’ll have experience in a fast paced, product centric environment
A University degree would be preferable
You’ll have experience in teasing out insight and articulating customer needs
You’ll have experience in developing market and competitor data
You’ll have experience of Budget Management and with SAFe
