About The Role

  • Helping the business to develop and build key industry verticals in the Financial Services, ISO, Marketplace, or PayFac sector.

  • Carrying a sales target and being responsible for developing, nurturing, and closing sales opportunities, aligned to business strategic growth goals.

  • Building a sales pipeline by attracting new business and searching for the next big opportunity within your sector.

  • Successfully managing expectations with our potential new customers, listening to their needs, , and working with the rest of the business to deliver right solutions for the customer and the business. After all they are at the heart of what we do.

  • Collaborating across functions, especially Product Development and Risk & Compliance, to ensure we can meet, deliver, and exceed our customer commitments.

  • Planning how to execute your sales goals and building a sales strategy in your sector, delivering your strategy with the rest of the Sales team.

  • Pushing visibility in the market, building connections and relationships, internally and externally.

  • Holding yourself accountable, being disciplined with your targets, metrics, and prospects.

  • You will either be reporting to our Sales Director or Head of Sales.

  • You are able to be based from home in this role, but you will need to be able to travel to our offices and, of course, visit customers across the UK.

About You

  • Excellent communication skills + ability to manage stakeholders and customers effectively.

  • Acquiring and card payments.

  • Payments knowledge of acquiring is essential, payment gateways would be an advantage.

  • Building strong and effective relationships.

  • Being highly motivated, self-driven and action orientated.

  • Achieving and exceeding targets, and delivering value in previous sales roles.

  • Collaborating internally to deliver results effectively for your customers.

  • Listening to customers’ needs and translating that into sales solutions.

  • Building customer pipelines with a strong desire to sell and create opportunities.
