Our client are an omni channel payments provider, from instore to ecommerce solutions this company are able to help companies of all sizes facilitate payments. Currently working with over 30,000 UK merchants they are in a phase of growth and as such as looking to build out their credit control function.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Credit Controller to join a fast paced, high volume Finance team. You will be responsible for setting up new processes, recruiting, leading and mentoring a team of two junior credits whilst ensuring prompt payment of customers contracts.

This is an office based role, working Monday Friday 09:00am - 5:30pm

Responsibilities

• Creating and implementing processes to streamline the company’s credit control function

• Recruit, Lead and Mentor a team of two junior Credit Controllers

• Identify areas to improve the company’s credit control function

• Ensuring company payment terms are followed

• Cash collection

• Manage issues that may impact cashflow

• Respond to and solve escalated queries

• Raise credit notes

• Issuing statements to customers

• Running monthly bills

• Document processing

• Establish strong working relationships with key customers

• Organising payments

• Ensure team targets are achieved

About the Desired Candidate

• Experience of managing a credit control team

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail

• Ability to work under pressure

• Strong administrative skills

• Organizational skills

• Customer service experience
