The company integrates the most popular international and local payment methods for both E-Commerce and In-Store, providing a tailored solution to merchants. Our client has grown fast to become to the second largest acquirer in Latam by volume, processing £140 billion of payment volumes globally each year across 1.3 million active merchants, supported by 5,000 employees.

Leveraging their operational headquarters and technology hubs in Madrid, Munich, Dubai and Chennai they are now expanding across Europe to build out a pan-European acquiring franchise. Their Europe project is gathering pace and the UK is the next major market on their roadmap. They are licensed to operate in the UK and are building out a team of talented leaders to leverage their success in other markets and take advantage of the commercial opportunity within the UK.

Responsibilities

A newly created role, we are looking for a commercially minded Account Development Manager, to help accelerate our clients next phase of growth in the UK market. This role will be a core member of the management team, reporting initially to the Director of Sales & Account Development. Joining as an Account Development Manager, you'll be responsible for promoting the growing range of products and services directly within a Portfolio of existing customers with up to £100 million CTO. You'll be responsible for reducing attrition and cross sell product offerings into an existing portfolio of customers developing long term profitable relationships with mid-corporate clients providing excellent customer service and maximizing business opportunities. You will also lead a small team, recruiting, nurturing and developing them to ensure departmental success.

About The Desired Candidate

  • Full and extensive specialist knowledge of eComm Acquiring and Payment Gateway.
  • Working knowledge of acquiring schemes, their drivers, industry dynamics, interchange, and future product service deliverables.
  • Proven experience in developing compelling sales propositions for, and establishing effective commercial relationships with existing clients
  • An up to date knowledge of Industry related technical development.
  • Knowledge of relevant third party suppliers (e.g. technology) and partners.
  • Total awareness of the interests and relationships in existence within any prospective client.
  • An exceptional profit performance record, ideally within a Client Relationship Management environment.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels. Proven success rate in negotiating at the highest level.

Salary

Up to £70,000 Plus Bonus
