About The Opportunity 

A newly created role, we are looking for a commercially minded Account Development Manager, to help accelerate our clients next phase of growth in the UK market. This role will be a core member of the management team, reporting initially to the Director of Sales & Account Development. Joining as an Account Development Manager, you'll be responsible for promoting the growing range of products and services directly within a Portfolio of existing customers with up to £100 million CTO. You'll be responsible for reducing attrition and cross sell product offerings into an existing portfolio of customers developing long term profitable relationships with mid-corporate clients providing excellent customer service and maximizing business opportunities. You will also lead a small team, recruiting, nurturing and developing them to ensure departmental success.

About You

  • Full and extensive specialist knowledge of eComm Acquiring and Payment Gateway.

  • Working knowledge of acquiring schemes, their drivers, industry dynamics, interchange, and future product service deliverables.

  • Experience in formulating and driving long-term strategic account plans and opportunity pipelines.

  • Proven experience in developing compelling sales propositions for, and establishing effective commercial relationships with existing clients

  • An up to date knowledge of Industry related technical development.

  • Knowledge of relevant third party suppliers (e.g. technology) and partners.

  • Total awareness of the interests and relationships in existence within any prospective client.

  • An exceptional profit performance record, ideally within a Client Relationship Management environment.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels. Proven success rate in negotiating at the highest level.
