About the Opportunity

The Product Manager - Cards role is a highly strategic and impactful role within the Payer Services Business Line. Our client offers a wide range of card issuing and acquiring products and services today and they are looking for somebody to take the business to the next level be it through product evolution or expansion. This role will have ownership and accountability for the design, development, implementation and ongoing management of the companies Card Payment strategy, proposition and partner ecosystem. While your focus will be on Card Issuing and Original Credit Transfers (OCTs), however, you may also be asked to support Acquiring from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of business goals, opportunities, and challenges, contributing towards strategy and roadmap.

• Own the product through its lifecycle, including; defining the proposition, building business cases, defining the product / features, support the business to sell the product and owning the product P&L.

• Manage product implementation, collaborating with engineering, design, analytics, customer facing teams as well as external partners.

• Work with external partners ensuring technical requirements are understood and communicated effectively to internal engineering and support teams.

• Manage product issues, collaborating with internal and external partners through detailed investigation and technical assessment.

• Demonstrate leadership to key stakeholders involved in the development, marketing and sale of our products.

• Identify opportunities in the market

• Working with your key stakeholders, plan and deliver product launches.

• Provide insight to key stakeholders on your products and market intelligence.

About you

• You’ll have experience in Card Issuing working as a Product Manager for a FinTech, Bank or Payment Network

• You’ll have experience or deep understanding of Card Acquiring

• Have an in-depth understanding of Card Issuing and Original Credit Transfers (OCTs) value chain including technology, economics and regulatory and compliance

• Have experience of managing the end to end lifecycle in the development and delivery of new products including development of a go-to-market strategy

• Have proven ability to oversee the creation and management of multiple products or services
