They are looking for a Product Director who will be responsible for the strategy and execution of all product-related activities; establishing a product vision, product innovation, product design and product development.

About the Opportunity

You’ll be in a unique position to define the success of their products. Your role as the product’s strategist and evangelist will be central to your success and the success of their products.
Your key objective is to set the short and long-term vision and strategy for company products both internally and externally.

It is important to understand that you are a central hub within the company for a lot of critical information about their products, market, competitors, customers and prospects.

To succeed, you will need to continually gather and analyse data and business intelligence from all of these sources (as well as our internal sources like Retail and Client Partnerships team) and use that data to inform the creation of your roadmap - a strategic, high-level visual vision that conveys the “why” behind the products you’re building.

You'll be a creative, logical, based thinker and a driver of new Ideas, focussed on developing and delivering commercially effective product set, with confidence to communicate that vision both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

Translate the input and data you gather to build a business case for many decisions you present in your roadmap,
Be transparent about your prioritisation and roadmap process
Be able to say “no,” but explain why in terms that stakeholders understand
Be a ruthless prioritise while balancing the needs of customers and stakeholders
Bring evidence-based decision-making to your communication
Take responsibility for the strategic direction, enhancement, and product performance of the company portfolio of products and services
Work collaboratively with Marketing, Technology and Business Operations to ensure effective delivery and support of products and services
Lead and develop product roadmaps for all products in conjunction with the Product Managers and Senior Management Team.
Oversee the creation and management of operating models for the Product and UX Design teams
Provide hands-on leadership and direction to a team of direct and indirect reports.
Measure the success of the products and projects to determine the best use of resourcing and budgets to meet the business goals.
Work collaboratively with Marketing to ensure there is common understanding of business goals and objectives
Develop and manage budgets and resource requirements

About You

Must have experience, preferably as a Head of Product Management in a complex business setting, that includes diverse experience in the fields of product marketing, management, and communications.
Must be a problem solver and a solution seeker, managing internal and external complications and challenges that may affect a product’s financial and market success.
It is an absolute necessity to possess great verbal and written communication skills as this role holder will make numerous presentations to the business’ stakeholders reporting on various aspects of a product’s development, from marketing, research, analytics, management, and profitability.
Ensure that presentations resonate to each audience in the best way possible, they have to be both verbally and visually engaging, sparking an audience’s interest, curiosity, and attention.
Must demonstrate exceptional leadership skills being able to demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate, motivate, and inspire cross-functional teams with professionalism and clarity.
Need to have an ability to think strategically and will possess a good eye for opportunities.

A high degree of professional as well as personal integrity;
Ability to conceptualise, prioritise, and manage multiple projects with ease.

Salary £100,000 plus 20% Bonus
